Since they are vintage, over 25 years old, the inherent irregularities are a part of many years of service and become apart of the charm of their age.They have been freshly tin coated on the inside and polished on the outer surfaces, ready to use.
For every day use, the outer surfaces can be scrubbed with tamarind, lemon wedges or Pitambari, (a easily available, brass/copper detergent, polisher), and the insides can be scrubbed with any dish washing detergent.
